Samo's Kingdom (623-659 A.D.)

The first Slovakian kingdom reign by king Samo and his Slavonian allies (on map - Dervan's Serbia, other Slovak squires, Valaluk's Corutania and Slavonian tribes in Bohemia).

623   SAMO (trader with weapons, participant in to the Slovaks rebelion against Avars) became the king and founded the first Slovakian
         state formation in territory habitated with Slovaks.
630   First attempt to change old Slovaks from barbars to christians by father AMANDUS.
631   After unsuccessful peace talks, the frankish king DAGOBERT invaded the SAMO's kingdom,
         in the major battle around Slovakian fort VOGASTISBURG, Samo won and Slovaks invaded Frankish empire,
         prince DERVAN (from Serbia around Labe river) allied with Samo.
659  (661?) Samo died, he reigned 35 years.
        State formation of the Slovaks continued under the grownest pressure of the Avars.
