 Manneken Pis – Brussels

The flashpoint of the Slovak-Week in Brussels was first dressing of the Manneken Pis (small statue of the peeing boy) to Detva (historical folk tradition region in Slovakia) folk costume. "Dressing" was accopanied with rich cultural program presenting the traditions of Slovakian regions. The event was organised by Slovak Society of the Manneken Pis Friends and Society for Art and Science - April 24th, 2004.

Speciality of the event was replacement of the water with beer (from Topolčianky Slovakia) in the fountain. Manneken Pis produced more than 600 glasses of beer :-)
